Two Emmerdale charatcers have quit the village.
The ITV soap has been full of drama lately and it continued during Thursday's (November 23) hour-long episode as Chloe Harris (Jasmine Elland) fled the village with her baby son Reuben despite pleas from her sister Amy Wyatt (Natalie Ann Jamieson).
Earlier in the week, Mack told a devastated Chloe he was breaking up with her to return to wife Charity Dingle (Emma Atkins). His decision left Chloe plotting her revenge and she confided in Amy that she would ruin the couple's happy ever after by leaving the village with Reuben, the son she shares with Mack.

Amy desperately tried to convince Chloe to stay and be around her family but after spotting Charity and Mack putting on a cosy display while Mack was looking after their son, she changed her mind. The only fly in her ointment was that she couldn't find Reuben's passport.
However, Charity's granddaughter Sarah unwittingly came across it, and Chloe fibbed saying she'd got it when Mack had suggested they go away before they split. A furious Sarah then headed to Moira's to rage at Mack for the way he had treated Chloe, but he hadn't suggested a trip abroad for months, before twigging what was actually going on.
Rushing out of the house, he raced round to Chloe's and banged on the door, with his the mother of his child slipping out the back door with their son. However, she was delayed by Amy, who begged her once again not to go. Mack and his sister Moira Dingle (Natalie J Robb) then showed up and Mack desperately tried to stop her, saying: "I would never take him from you!"
She replied: "You walked out on us and didn't think twice about it. You should have stayed away from the start, we don't want you and we don't need you! So for once in your life do the right thing and let us go!" A scuffle promptly broke out as Mack tried to open the car door to get Reuben from his car seat, with Amy dragging him off and Mack ending up on the floor. Chloe then climbed into the car and drove off, with Mack running through the village after her shouting for her to stop to no avail.
As the credits rolled, Emmerdale fans took to X, formerly known as Twitter, to discuss Chloe and Reuben's dramatic departure. One wrote: "COME ON Chloe get your act together ..get those bags packed & leave ASAP. Make a new life for yourself and Reuben." Another added: "Well done Chloe, hoped Amy was gonna finish him off." A third person said: "Go Chloe."

However, it looks like Chloe's set to return to the village in the near future as boss Laura Shaw confirmed she will turn to her mystery father for help over the Christmas period. The producer teased: "The Chloe, Charity, Mackenzie love triangle has been bubbling away for 18 months or so now so what we'll see at Christmas is that reach a more of crescendo where Mackenzie pushes Chloe to her absolute limits and what we will see is her reach out to her father for help.
"Obviously from a previous storyline we know Chloe's dad is not somebody to be messed about with, quite a dark character, we know he was quite controlling with Chloe and that people are afraid of him. When she reaches out to him we'll see him helping Chloe in his own unique way. Is Mackenzie going to be able to talk his way out of this one? I'm not sure but we'll have to wait and see. I think it's sure to see that the repercussions of that are going to be long lasting into the new year and beyond."
