Emmerdale bosses have confrmed the identity of the mystery driver who knocked down Alex Moore and quickly left the scene.
Episodes of the ITV soap saw Dawn Taylor reveal to Billy Fletcher that Alex threatened her ahead of a court case that will determine if they will get full custody of Lucas and Clemmie.
Manpreet Sharma, Naomi Walters and Charles Anderson encouraged Alex to fight for custody of his kids – but Dawn was left shaken after overhearing the news that dad Will Taylor and wife Kim Tate kidnapped and threatened Alex, telling him to stay away.

Dawn was left waiting in the courtroom for Alex's arrival, but he did not arrive, after Charles discovered Alex had stolen drugs from the pharmacy and that he had lied everyone in the village.
Charles tried to call the police, but Alex fled the village after smashing Charles' phone.
Soon afterwards, Alex stepped out on the road and was hit by a car, with the newcomer appearing to be lifeless.
It has since been revealed that Billy was responsible for knocking over Alex and despite being in a bad way, fans think Alex is still alive.
One fan penned:: "Left for dead meaning…Alex will spend one night in the miracle performing Hotten General and be as right as rain the next day."
Another added: "OMG what has Billy done?! Still think Alex is alive."
A third person agreed: "Alex is deffo still alive."
