Emmerdale: Caleb gives advice to Leyla

In upcoming scenes in Emmerdale, Leyla Harding (played by Roxy Shahidi) and newcomer Caleb Milligan (Will Ash) spend the night together after growing close. Leyla is still feeling on edge ever since she was kidnapped by drug dealer Callum (Tom Ashley). The businesswoman is constantly looking over her shoulder, fearing for her and her family’s life.

In official spoilers released by ITV, Caleb and Leyla flirt as the businesswoman invites Caleb in for coffee.

News quickly spreads throughout the village after Leyla and Caleb spend the night together.

Later, Leyla receives some shocking news – Callum’s been released on bail.

This puts Leyla on edge and from a distance someone’s watching her every move.

Meanwhile, things start to get hot and heavy between Caleb and Leyla but unbeknownst to them, they’re being watched by a hooded figure.

The next day, somebody again watches Leyla from a car window.

Caleb offers to check in on her, but Leyla finds her strength, not allowing Callum to keep her scared.

Later, as Leyla enters the Village Hall, her stalker is apprehended by Caleb.

But who could it be? Has Callum returned to the village to finish what he started?

In doing so, the turn of events could end up driving Leyla out of the village as she fears for her life.

In scenes which aired earlier this month, Leyla felt guilty after Callum knocked Suzy Merton (Martelle Edinborough) out by smacking her in the head with a brick.

After receiving threatening messages from the drug dealer, she decided to bite the bullet and confront him after taking advice from Caleb.

However, things took an unexpected turn when Callum ended up kidnapping her.

Ever since, fans have taken to social media to share their thoughts about Caleb and Leyla’s storyline and why the newcomer is so interested in helping her.

One eagle-eyed fan theorised Caleb is involved with Callum somehow as @TwellyWatcher shared: “I still think Caleb is somehow involved in this, the only ever interaction between him and Leyla was last night and now this!?? Idk.” (sic)

@RyanTheSoapking tweeted: “Caleb giving Leyla advice is very random. #Emmerdale.”

While @leahallen77 pointed out: “Just a thought is Caleb involved with Callum is that why he’s suddenly giving Leyla advice & whatever or Alex? #Emmerdale.” (sic)

“Why would Leyla tell Caleb? Why would Caleb want to know? He should be in an Avenger costume, interfering get #emmerdale,” CaroleAnn1982 commented.
