Emmerdale fans spot awkward Paul photo blunder as Jimmy King raises funeral fund

Emmerdale fans were left a little confused when they clocked a collection box in honour of Paul Ashdale's funeral on Thursday's episode.

On the front of the box, Paul's face could be seen, cut out in a head-and-shoulders profile.

However, viewers couldn't understand where Jimmy King had sourced a picture of Paul's face, while another suggested the pic looked like a promotional shot.

Jimmy (Nick Miles) handmade the collection box out of guilt, desperately trying to make up for having accidentally killed Paul (Reece Dinsdale) on his wedding day.

He headed straight to the Woolpack to confront his demons, slamming the gold rectangular box on the bar counter.

Watching from home, viewers were distracted during the hard-hitting scene, with the handmade box catching their attention.

"That pic Jiimy had of Paul looked like the promo photo from emmerdale ads," claimed one Twitter user.

And a second wondered: "Where the f*** did he get a cut out of paul's head?"

While a third weighed in: "That box with a picture of Paul's smug face sticking out is hilarious #Emmerdale."

"I know it sounds awful but I burst out laughing when Jimmy put the charity box on the bar for Paul's funeral," wrote a fourth.
