Emmerdale fans think they’ve predicted a Gabby Thomas pregnancy storyline as they wonder if she could end up having an affair with a married villager.

Some fans think there could be an explosive love affair heading to the show after they predict Billy Fletcher could end up getting together with Gabby Thomas behind wife Dawn Taylor’s back.

In recent episodes, Gabby has been seen confiding her worries in Billy and even attempted to kiss him while drunk. Gabby has been struggling following the end of her relationship with Nicky Milligan after he left her at the altar.

Earlier in the episode, Gabby caused a scene as she tried to confront her ex Nicky, but after attempting to land a punch on him, she accidentally missed and caught Billy Fletcher instead. Trying to defuse the situation, Billy led Gabby away and tried to calm her down, but Gabby got the wrong impression and tried to kiss Billy instead.

Billy rejected Gabby’s advances but later decided to hide the incident from his wife Dawn.

However, some fans wondered if there could be an upcoming romance between Billy and Gabby that could bring even more drama to Emmerdale.

One fan predicted on Twitter: “The seeds are now sown for Gabby and Billy to have an affair. It's certain."

A second person wrote: "I knew Billy would back out of telling Dawn about Gabby trying to kiss him. #Emmerdale."

A third person wrote: "#Emmerdale Calling it now… Gabby and Billy will have a massive row which will end with them shagging, Dawn will lose the baby, Gabby will get pregnant and you can guess the rest."

While a fourth added: “Of course, she was going to make a move, he rejected her so she’s going to be typical Gabby and tell Dawn he made a move on her just to cause a bit of trouble #emmerdale."

Elsewhere on Emmerdale, fans were recently left devastated after the death of beloved character Rishi Sharma.

While many thought the popular character had died of a heart attack, it turns out that was not the case and the tragic ending was a lot more mundane.

Rishi – played by actor Bhasker Patel – had been on the show for over a decade but has been written out of the show with ITV bosses telling the actor they were plotting a big storyline.

While this situation led speculation to arise that he had suffered a heart attack which forced him to fall down the stairs, it turns out it was just an accidental fall which led to his demise, according to the coroner's report.

However, Rishi's cause of death has not pleased a lot of fans as many feel it was not a fitting end for a character who had been in the show for so long.

One person took to social media to say: "Accidental fall not a mark on him."

While another stated: "Still can’t believe they’ve killed Rishi off."

A third penned: "So Rishi had a fall and didn't have a heart attack like I initially thought."
