Emmerdale fans have predicted who Meena Jutla's next victim could be after she issued a chilling warning to Jacob Gallagher on Thursday's episode.

Last week, Meena (Paige Sandhu) murdered Andrea (Anna Nightingale) and stole her bracelet as a sick "keepsake", with the character even trying to kill Priya Sharma in hospital on Monday in case she witnessed the crime.

Meena also tried to drown Victoria Sugden before she was disturbed and has been on the war path since her boyfriend David Metcalfe dumped her for Victoria.

After trying to manipulate Jacob against David and Victoria, the character stood up to the evil nurse as he insisted that he doesn't hate anybody and wants his father to be happy, saying: "Stop trying to make me take sides, it's not fair."

To which Meena issued a chilling threat against him and admitted she had wished Victoria had died during the soap's explosive stunt week, where she plunged down a waterfall after a rope bridge collapsed.

She said: "Do you want to know what I really think do you? Jacob, I can only pray one day you'll find the courage to speak your truth.

"You know, you should be careful what you wish for… soon you might wish you left well enough alone like I wish I'd left Victoria to drown in the river."

Jacob was left visibly shocked over Meena's words while she blew a menacing kiss at him as she strutted away.

Emmerdale fans were left concerned for Jacob as they feared he would be the evil nurse's next victim, especially as Meena alluded to drowning Victoria.

One person said: "Jacob knows the truth about Meena trying to drown Victoria. What is he going to do with this information?#Emmerdale," followed by scared emojis.

Another follower commented: "Oooo Jacob be careful your now on Meena’s hit list #emmerdale."

While a different fan added: "I'm guessing Jacob will be next on Meena's hit list #Emmerdale."

It comes as Meena is set to get a new love interest on Emmerdale after losing boyfriend David to Victoria.

Fans have even predicted that the evil nurse will pursue Billy Fletcher as he has incriminating video evidence of her attempting to drown Victoria in the river – something that both of the two characters don't realise yet.

While some Emmerdale fans have even predicted Meena's downfall after spotting a number of clues which could expose the village murderer.
