AN Emmerdale star has confessed they're asked to do I'm a Celebrity "every year" but always say no – despite big money offers.
Soap stars typically do very well on I'm a Celebrity, with Charlie Brooks, Jacqueline Jossa and Danny Miller all winning their respective series.
But Emmerdale favourite Lisa Riley is yet to be tempted Down Under and disappoints bosses every year by declining the show.
The actress, who made her debut as Mandy Dingle in the ITV soap in 1995, said: "They ask me every year. They dangle that big carrot every year. I've always said "no", but the older I get… I'm 47. I always go 'Corr, I'm getting old'."
But fans could still see Lisa in the jungle in the not so distant future as she plans a huge way to mark her next milestone birthday.
She added to the Daily Star: "In my head I always feel like I'm 19, I'm never going to change who I am. But maybe if there was a milestone like my 50th. Then maybe."
