As if the stress of reopening the B&B wasn’t enough for poor Bob Hope (Tony Audenshaw), Bernice Blackstock (Samantha Giles) leaves him concerned when he finds her bed hasn’t been slept in.
A new spoiler video shows his relief when she shows up, having apparently not slept in her bed the night before.
Bob is out of his mind with stress as he quizzes her on her whereabouts, insisting that he thought she’d done a runner or, even worse, died.
A flustered Bernice assures him that she’s just been for a jog and made her bed before she left, but is she telling the truth?
Bob is confused when she suggests getting forensics in to prove her innocence, and she quickly backtracks.
He points out how much stuff there is to do, and worries her by suggesting that guests may arrive early.
Panicking, she demands that he get on with things instead of just standing there, and they rush off to get things sorted.
It will soon transpire that Bernice hadn’t been for a run, and that her disheveled state was actually the result of a night of passion with Tim the harpist, who had been hired to play for the B&B opening.
Only, things hadn’t gone entirely to plan, as when Bernice woke up alongside him, she realised that there was something not quite right…
Tim the harpist was dead.
This minor hiccup may prove to be a bigger issue as the opening rolls around, and his body is found by poor Bob.
Will the B&B still get the grand opening it deserves?
