HEAVILY traumatised by her ordeal with sinister nurse Meena Jutla, Manpreet Sharma has opted for silence.

The Emmerdale GP – played by Rebecca Sarker – has refused to testify against the serial killer. But could that change?

Making her first appearance in the Dales in September, 2020, Meena (portrayed by actress Paige Sandhu) has since become one of the Dales' most ruthless and notorious serial killer.

Despite many fans of the long-running soap taking a liking to her, the criminal is slowly but surely making an exit as her trial unfolds – and many suspect Noah Dingle could expose all of her secrets.

Residents of the eponymous village are looking to seek justice for Leanna Cavanagh, Andrea Tate and Ben Tucker, whom were all murdered by the unhinged nurse.

But Meena has made more victims and these still have to live with the trauma she has caused them.

One of them is Meena's sister, Manpreet, who previously refused to testify against her in court, much to Liam Cavanagh's dismay.

The latter has been eager to see Meena's downfall since he found she pushed his daughter Leanna off the Emmerdale bridge.

However, in upcoming scenes of the ITV show, Manpreet reconsiders her stance on testifying.

If Manpreet decides to take the witness stand, her testimony could shatter Meena's defence.

She not only knows all about Meena's lies and manipulative tactics, she was also held hostage by the serial killer in December, 2021.

Manpreet was drugged and tied up in Wendy's home before being taken to a barn alongside Vinny, where Meena was planning to gas them alive after confession all of her crimes to them.

Both characters were eventually saved by Liam who then tried to run after Meena, to no avail.

Meena temporarily escaped justice and came back to crash Dawn Taylor and Billy Fletcher's wedding.

The pair were almost murdered as Meena kidnapped them and brought them to a remote viaduct.

Another one of Meena's victims is Leyla Harding, Liam's wife, who was shot when the serial killer returned to the village, but fortunately survived.
