EMMERDALE'S Matty Barton is set to turn violent as he hides a shocking secret in upcoming episodes of the ITV soap.
The character – played by Ash Palmisciano as the programme's first transgender star – doesn't appear to be having a good week.
Matty is acting very moody in scenes due to air on Emmerdale early next week – and he's got his friends talking.
But when Matty gets wind that Amy Wyatt has been asking Ryan Stocks about it, he snaps and loses his temper.
A chair goes flying after he kicks it as his anger spirals out of control at his friends as he does his best to keep his feelings to himself.
Moira Dingle does her best to appease Matty, aware of what is fuelling his anger – and she implores him to be honest with Amy.
