Emmerdale star Danny Miller hints he's quitting Twitter after his girlfriend gets trolled

Emmerdale star Danny Miller has suggested that he is done with Twitter after a troll sent an abusive message targeting his girlfriend.

The actor, who plays Aaron Dingle on the ITV soap, is on holiday at present but took time out to fire back at the user, saying that he would “rather have no fans” than fans like her.

Danny went on to say that he has blocked her before announcing that he “can’t stand the negativity”.

“And don’t rally around and attack her,” he added to the rest of his fans.

“Makes you just as bad as her AND her shit profile picture. Leave it be to its sad little life. Speak soon. Peace out.”

The troll has since apologised to Danny.

“Am really sorry for what I said,” she said. “Am not normally the type of person to say horrible things & regret it. Sorry to her too & am happy for u.

“Don’t blame u for blocking me would do the same. Enjoy the rest of ur hols.”

On Emmerdale, Aaron and Robert were seen tying the knot again in a heartwarming ceremony recently.

Danny and his co-star Ryan Hawley have also made it onto the shortlist for the Best Partnership award for this year’s Inside Soap Awards.

Emmerdale airs weeknights at 7pm on ITV, with an extra episode at 8pm on Thursdays.
