In a bizarre turn of events Debbie, played by actress Charley Webb in the ITV soap, ended up in hospital after Ross accidentally shot her at Home Farm.
After admitting to ex-boyfriend Ross that she was responsible for his scarred face, he cornered her desperate for answers.
Debbie cried: “I’m sorry, the acid wasn’t meant for anyone Ross this wasn’t even meant to be you. I wanted Joe to get beat up for what he’d done to me.
"Please just call the police, I promise I won’t mention the gun.”
