Emmerdale viewers have some intense scenes to look forward to in upcoming episodes of the soap as Mackenzie become desperate to keep the secret from his girlfriend Charity that Chloe is pregnant with his baby.
However this is becoming a hard task as Chloe now is living under the same roof with Charity’s family.
In a previous episode, Mackenzie tells Chloe that he has paid the deposit for a flat for her so that she can move out from Charity's family home.
However he was met with anger from Chloe as he told her about the flat, with her saying that he should have talked to her before going through with the deposit.
What the pair did not know at the time was that Sarah heard the whole argument, making her come to the conclusion that Mackenzie must be the father of Chloe's baby.
She soon confronted Mackenzie about if the baby is really his.
Jessie Elland told Metro that Chloe finds it hard not to tell her friend everything.
"They are so close and she feels awful about keeping it a secret," she revealed, but acknowledged that her character has no choice based on the situation she finds herself in.
She added: "It’s necessary for her survival to keep it a secret."
Jessie explained: "She’s trying to claim her own autonomy over the situation. I also think, in a way, it adds to more of the tension because they all get on as a unit, Chloe and Charity and Sarah. Because there isn’t any malice in it or blackmail, it’s almost worse knowing there is this secret.
Back in October, it was revealed to viewers that Chloe was Mackenzie's secret lover after viewers had take to Twitter to discuss who the mystery lover could be.
At the time, Mackenzie met up with Chloe, but didn't hold back as he told her they were a drunken mistake, asked her to leave him alone and insisted he loves girlfriend Charity Dingle.
The confrontation left Chloe upset while Mackenzie headed to The Woolpack happy, thinking that his "certain problem" had been solved.
However, the episode ended with Chloe holding a positive pregnancy test, revealing she's pregnant.
This added extra drama as it would be a heartbreaking revelation to Charity if she were to find out as she recently lost her baby with boyfriend Mackenzie..
