Emmerdale spoilers have confirmed that Faith Dingle dies next week in a devastating storyline that sees her daughter Chas miss out on saying goodbye.
Fans have already been growing frustrated over her affair with Al Chapman, but next week the romance comes back to haunt her in the worst possible way.
After an emotional conversation with Aaron next week after his return, Faith is left brimming with excitement as she comes up with the idea of spending a family day at the seaside.

Bad news strikes when the Dingle matriarch’s health takes a turn for the worst, but she’s insistent on making it to the beach for the others, leaving Cain desperate to seek a solution.
Secret planning is soon underway, and Faith is overwhelmed to see what the Dingles have pulled together, bringing the beach to Emmerdale, and thrilled to see her family having fun together.
When Diane Sugden arrives back in the village, Faith squeals with happiness and Chas and Rodney are chuffed with their efforts.
As Cain asks his mum to dance, Faith thinks it simply can’t get any better. Later, Faith holds a family picture to her heart, utterly content with the day.
But elsewhere, Moira is unsettled by Faith’s hints that she might end her life soon, while Brenda, Eric and Diane vow to make as many memories with her as possible.
Moira begs Faith to back out of the plan to end her own life, and Faith assures her she isn’t going ahead with it any time soon – but a guilty look tells a very different story.
Later, Nate helps Faith up to bed, unaware of the heartbreaking decision she’s already come to as she switches off her phone and takes another long look at the pictures from her seaside day.
Steadying herself to end her life alone, Faith is soon joined by a devastated Cain who, realising what his mum has gone ahead with, tries to keep her as comfortable as he can as she slips away.
When Cain realises Faith has taken her final breath, he’s left devastated – and so are the rest of her family.

For Chas, however, it’s concern for beau Al after his altercation with Aaron distracting her, though her son remains insistent that he acted for the best.
In the pub, Al needs an answer from Chas on the future of their relationship, but, seeing her happy around her family, he fears he might already have lost her.
But the shady businessman is both stunned and overjoyed when Chas tells him she loves him and wants to be with him – and, days later, the pair meet up at a hotel.
Worried about Faith, Chas is comforted by Al who informs her that he’s bought them a house together and wants to celebrate.
Tragically unaware of the tragic events unfolding back home, Chas agrees to ignore her worries and lets Al switch her phone on silent – and Paddy’s frantic calls go unanswered.
Will Chas come to regret her decision to stay with Al after her mum’s death?
