Emmerdale’s Nicola King (Nicola Wheeler) has been carrying the emotional scars of her attack for months now, and just as she’s on the cusp of getting justice, it’s snatched from her hands. There’s only one thing for it – she’ll have to do it herself.

Having learned that Charles Anderson’s (Kevin Mathurin) daughter Naomi (Karene Peter) was behind her attack, Nicola takes the matter to the police. Harriet Finch (Katherine Dow Blyton) drops the bad news that the police will not be able to take it to prosecution. They have no time for it as Naomi is keeping schtum about her involvement and there’s not a lot else to go on.

Nicola is stunned by the outcome, but now she’s found her fight again she’s not ready to give up just yet. The woman who’s left her feeling terrorised in her own village must pay.

She turns her sights on Naomi’s dad – when she sees Charlies she seethes at him for his daughter’s actions, leaving the vicar is horrified at the confrontation and fearful for the retribution Nicola clearly has planned. But she doesn’t stop there; Nicola feels betrayed by Manpreet Sharmar (Rebecca Sarker) too and issues her a chilling warning – she will end both Manpreet and Charles’ careers for keeping quiet.

Nicola’s next target is Naomi, who she demands comes clean. She fumes again at Charles for taking his daughter’s side as he clearly hasn’t taken her threat seriously. Perhaps he should, as Nicola isn’t going to let this one go. How far will Nicola go to get her revenge?
