Noah Dingle (played by Jack Downham) has fallen for Emmerdale newcomer Chloe Harris (Jessie Elland) in recent months but his family doesn’t approve. Noah has been meeting up with his lover in secret and on Thursday night’s double bill, he and Chloe attempted to flee the village together. However, they were stopped in their tracks and taken back home by his furious mother Charity (Emma Atkins). Will Noah get revenge by splitting Charity and her boyfriend Mack Boyd (Lawrence Robb)?

During the double bill, Chloe and Noah were spotted by Kerry Wyatt (Laura Norton) and Charity as they were trying to escape from Emmerdale together to start a new life.

However, Charity and Kerry ended up driving the lovers back to the village as Charity was adamant the couple couldn’t be together.

When Noah was escorted home after being stopped from running away with Chloe, he was livid with his family.

He shouted at Sarah Sugden (Sophia Moore): “You told her where I was, don’t tell me you’re sorry.

“You couldn’t have Chloe, so you decided I couldn’t have Chloe either.”

Turning to his mum Charity, Noah added: “Now I’m never going to see her again. Well, guess whose fault that is?”

Charity replied: “Noah, I had to stop you.”

“Had to stick your neck in more like,” Noah snapped.

A concerned Charity told Noah she was simply trying to protect him, but Noah was not buying any of it and continued to erupt.

Noah fumed: “What – like you did with the Army? I didn’t ask you to and I’m old enough to manage my own things.”

Charity interjected: “No you’re not. Not with the kind of man that Chloe’s dad is.”

Emmerdale fans will know Chloe lives alone in an opulent mansion which is covered in CCTV cameras set up by her criminal father who is in prison.

Noah told his mother he knew “exactly” what Chloe’s dad had done, insisting Chloe told him everything about him and her background.

“We love each other, and you decided to dump all over it knowing what I wanted,” Noah shouted.

Mack, who also received a grilling from Noah, tried to sympathise with the teen saying: “I know this must be really hard for you mate.”

“Shut up, you really are a hypocrite, telling me you’re on my side,” Noah replied.

“You’ve ruined my life once again,” Noah added before storming upstairs to get away from his family.

Noah had really fallen for Chloe, so his family’s intervention which stopped the couple from starting a new life together has cut him deeply.

Will he hatch a plan to rip Charity and Mack apart in a revenge twist so they can experience the pain he’s suffering?

Emmerdale continues weeknights at 7pm on ITV.
