Ethan Anderson (Emile John) arrives at a police interview room next week in Emmerdale to meet with potential client Jordan.

Jordan, who has a bruise on his right cheek, has been arrested on suspicion of assault.

Ethan attempts to establish what transpired, but Jordan is keen to get things moving, as the detective arrives to question him.

The tense scenes can be viewed in the above clip, taken from Thursday’s (April 28) edition of the ITV soap.

Subsequent scenes will see Ethan agree to take Jordan’s case, but after he interviews Jordan, he comes to realise just who his victim was, when he sees a CCTV image.

It’s Billy Fletcher (Jay Kontzle).

Billy, meanwhile, tells Dawn Taylor (Olivia Bromley) that the attack was racially aggravated.

Harriet Finch (Katherine Dow Blyton) is on the case, and she encourages Ethan to withdraw from it.

The question is: will Ethan do so? Or will he continue to represent Jordan?

Emmerdale airs these scenes on Thursday April 27 at 7pm on ITV.
