Ever since she was told her cancer had returned on Emmerdale, Faith Dingle (Sally Dexter) has been determined to do things her way.

From deciding to stop the chemo to stealing chameleons from the vets and going on a last joyride with Eric Pollard (Chris Chittell) Faith has resolved that her final days would be as much under her control as possible.

As she faces the grim reality that those days are very much numbered, Faith decides there’s one last piece of control she can exercise. She wants to end her own life when the time comes and she’s asked Moira (Natalie J. Robb) to help her.

While it’s a huge burden to place on Moira, Faith knows that she can trust her daughter-in-law.

She also knows that Cain (Jeff Hordley) and Chas (Lucy Pargeter) would be very upset if they knew of her plan and would do everything they could to try to stop her.

Moira feels awkward when Cain insists on planning hospice care fo Faith, and on a family day out Faith feels worn out and guilty by Chas and Cain’s talk of planning the hospice.

As Moira begs her to share her plans with her children, Faith is adamant that nobody but Moira should know. It’s a huge burden – can Moira go through with it?
