First look inside the incredible Love Island 2018 villa

Ahead of the next series of Love Island, which kicks off in less than one week, we’ve been given an exciting first glimpse at the brand new villa.

And if the stunning property is anything to by the cast of 2018 are in for an incredible summer.

The luxurious new pad comes complete with a jaw dropping infinity pool, swanky bar area and more hidden areas than ever before.

But old favourites the fire pit, beach hut and of course the secret hideaway all back to keep the singletons busy for another year.

The Mirror Online can now reveal a first look at the revamped pad…

The bedroom

The place where the magic happens, has been given a bright new makeover for the new set of singletons.

Contestants will be sleeping – and no doubt canoodling – underneath some eye-popping pink and blue bed spreads, while the colourful walls feature some quirky pool float designs.

As in previous years the beds are tightly packed together meaning there’s no escape from snoring or groaning housemates.

And there are also plenty of cameras in there to catch those infamous toe-curling moments.

The lounge

When does Love Island 2018 start, who are the contestants, presenters and all the latest gossip

The lounge area is a far more muted affair, decorated with beige sofas and pastel coloured scatter cushions.

No doubt the cosy spot will come in handy for any of the contestants that find themselves shunned from the bedroom.

And if the Islanders ever forget what they’re in there to do the ‘Eat, sleep, selfie repeat,’ sign on the wall should give them a gentle nudge in the right direction.

The Hideaway

What would Love Island be without its secret shag pad?

This year the producers have tried to light the embers of passion with low level lighting, soft red cushions and a faux fur rug.

Very romantic.

The writings on the wall

As regular viewers will remember, those colourful catchphrases on the wall have become an iconic part of the Love Island set up.

And this year the signs have been given a slight update.

Though there’s still nods to catch phrases of years gone by that we’re still struggling to shake from our vocabulary.

‘A bit of me,’ ‘crack on’ and ‘salty’ anyone?

But there’s plenty of new phrases to enjoy including ‘slaying’ and ‘Yas Queen’

Mi Casa es su Casa is scrawled in the hallway… but will there be another Casa like last year?

The bathroom

The all white and marble bathroom has survived another year.

Participants will be forced to share the facilities so let’s hope they don’t mind waiting around for a shower in the morning.

Though this year there’s an added bath for housemates to scrub up in either alone or with a special someone.

The Glam Room

With the villa supplied with hair straighteners, curling irons and even plush dyson hairdryers, the singletons don’t have much of an excuse to be looking anything short of the best during their stay in the villa.

But as there’s only three tiny mirrors here’s hoping the know how to share.

This sturdy door will makes sure there’ll be no escapees.

While the pathway to freedom is adorned with hanging lights, ensuring dumped Islanders will be able to find their way out of the villa and into their waiting taxis.

The pool

It wouldn’t be the Love Island villa without a humongous pool to give us all the holiday feels.

Although in past years the swimming facilities have been rarely used by the preening islanders.

This year housemates have upgraded to an infinity pool meaning there’s plenty of stunning shots of the Majorcan countryside around them.

The Garden

There’s also some blue and pink bean bags that can be moved strategically around the garden – perfect for any gossiping about the night before’s antics.

Any housemate not happily coupled up will be pleased to know they have the chance for a night’s kip under the stars – on the two al fresco beds on offer.

And if housemates don’t fancy a dip in the pool, there’s always a chance to flash their honed swimwear bods in the outdoor jacuzzi.

There’s also a bar area for necking those pre party shots and for the day time a plush sofa area for housemates to top on their tans and catch up on the gossip.

The Kitchen

Housemates will also be able to whip up a culinary treat in the kitchen – or wait for ready made dishes to brought in for them.

Continuing with the faux-grass theme, the kitchen Island bares the words ‘All the feels’ written across it neon blue.

The Gym

One look at the line-up confirms looking good is essential to 2018’s singletons, and that’ll be even more true when they are required to be in their bikinis and swimming trunks for the foreseeable future.

So housemates will be pleased to know there’s an outdoor gym just waiting to be used.

The gang will be able to continue the hard work on their bods – as well as grab some camera time and the chance to impress the opposite sex in the villa.

The Balcony

And housemates looking to get away from it all will be pleased to know there’s a private(ish – there’s still cameras) balcony overlooking the entire garden.

No doubt the secluded area will be home to lots of deep and meaningful chats about ‘types on paper’ or ‘salty’ Islanders.

The fire pit

And of course there’s the place where relationships are made and destroyed – the fire pint.

The producers have kept things almost the same as last year with the curved white sofa, meaning contestants will be forced to look each other in the eye after making their choices.

The Beach Hut

And finally, the area that’s almost as crucial to Love Island as the fire pit the Beach Hut.

The place where the housemates reveal their inner most feelings to the camera, and us watching at home.

And this year the famous chair has been kept almost the same as in previous years, with the wooden panels and idlyllic beach setting behind it – helping the participants feel a sense of relaxation before dishing the dirt.
