GINO D'Acampo has sensationally quit Gordon, Gino and Fred: Road Trip sparking rumours that the reason he walked out was over money.
The Italian chef, 46, his friendship with Fred Sirieix and Gordon Ramsay remains strong after he made the announcement today.
He took to Instagram to share his reasoning for leaving the show after not wanting people to get the wrong end of the stick.
"Last week I decided not to film any more Gordon, Gino and Fred Road trips. The reason is very simple – nothing to do with Gordon or Fred, the friendship is very strong," he told his followers.
"It’s just because we can’t get the dates together and sometimes when we do get the dates together sometimes they get changed and it causes a lot of problems for me because I have other stuff that I have to do.
"Personal problems as well because when I have to change things with my family it is very complicated and also because contracts.

"Because contracts start to become very complicated and very stressful, I personally value the friendship with Gordon and Fred so much that I would rather the friendship than arguments with the contract."
"The This Morning regular continued: "So I have decided not to do it anymore because I want to be friends with the boys for many, many years ahead."
However, some fans weren't convinced and thought that the reason he was walking away from the show was down to financial reasons.
"Aka Gino wants more money. Understood, don't blame you," one wrote.

"That last reason made it sound like somebody wanted a lot more money than others…" a second added.
"Possibly. Though the demand for more money usually comes from the biggest name, especially if the show has been a success. Which it has. Either way it sounds as though Gino wasn’t getting a fair slice. They should all be paid equally."
"Gino just say it. I have a lot of money and I don’t need obligations. If you are not financially well you would be shooting those episodes for sure. Chill and enjoy you did your money mozzare. now you can relax," chimed a third.
The first series aired in 2018 and saw the men travel to Italy and France, two years later they headed to America and in 2021 they were in Greece.
In between they’ve also produced three Christmas Specials.
It's not all bad news for fans, however, as ITV told The Sun: "A brand new series of Gordon, Gino & Fred's Road Trip in Spain will be broadcast on ITV1 and ITVX later this year."
