Gogglebox viewers were left emotional over 'lovely' tribute to the Malone family's beloved dog Dave, who died earlier this week.
The Manchester family's Rottweiler has been a permanent and much-loved fixture on the hit Channel 4 show since they started it in 2014.
On Wednesday, Julie Malone took to Instagram to announce the sad news as she shared a sweet tribute video of the Rottweiler.
The TV star wrote: "RIP Dave xxx There are no words to describe you, or how much you meant to us.
"This was you on Sunday waiting for your Dad to come back and he had only gone out to the car x We are all going to miss you so much."

On the latest episode of Gogglebox, which aired on Friday, 20 October, there was a special tribute to Dave at the start, which saw him hilariously jump up at Tom Senior, who doubled over in pain as the dog's paws hit his crotch.
A drink was then knocked over the TV remote as Tom's son Shaun and wife Julie howled with laughed.
The C4 Gogglebox team also posted the clip on X – formerly known as Twitter – captioning the post: "Utter chaos and we’ll miss it #RIPDave @TheMalonesGB #Gogglebox"
Devastated Gogglebox rushed to comment to offer their condolences to the family, as one wrote: "Loved every laugh u gave us Dave shall miss you so so much xxxx."
Another commented: "RIP Big Dave. Never easy to lose a family pet/dog. Thinking of the Malone family. #Gogglebox #RIPDave."
A third said: "Seeing Dave at the start of the show was very much needed and he of course got a laugh! RIP you sweet boy!" and a fourth wrote: "A fitting tribute for Dave, run free across rainbow bridge big fella.xx"
"Gutted to hear this. Loved seeing Dave – main reason I watched. RIP big fella," tweeted a fifth.
After Julie Malone announced Dave's death on Wednesday, her fellow Gogglebox co-star Izzi Warner rushed to offer her support as she commented on the post: "Awww rest in peace Dave. sending you all lots of love xx."
This is not the first heartbreak the Malone family has faced as they also said goodbye to another family dog in 2021, after their pooch Izzie sadly passed.
Izzie was also a Rottweiler who appeared on the show alongside the rest of the family's dogs. They also said goodbye to pooch Frankie in 2019.
