Good Morning Britain star Laura Tobin left viewers in disbelief over her age on Monday as she celebrated her birthday on the ITV chat show.

During the latest instalment, the weather presenter's co-stars celebrated the occasion as they presented her with a volcano forest cake and sung Happy Birthday.

However, viewers were left distracted during the scenes as they were left in disbelief over Laura's age.

The weather presenter turned 41 on Monday 10 October but fans were quick to argue that she looked as though she was in her "mid 30s".

While co-host Susanna Reid pointed out: "Martin said he doesn't know how old you are – he guessed 24…"

To which Martin Lewis quipped: "Because I'm not stupid!" with Laura adding: "Yes, well done, very very close…"

Taking to Twitter, one person said: "#gmb Happy 18th birthday Laura. You look so young."

A different account put: "No chance @Lauratobin1 is 41 today. I thought you were mid 30s if that . #HappyBirthday #GMB."

While another viewer said: "@Lauratobin1 Happy 24th Birthday Laura, I hope you have an awesome day."

Laura also took to Instagram to post a snap of herself holding a rainbow 41 cake, as well as share shots of her cakes presented on GMB.

Aside from GMB, Laura has been busy writing her new book, Everyday Ways to Save Our Planet.

It features over a 100 ways we can make sustainable swaps in our every day lives. And it appears her four year old daughter Charlotte has caught the eco bug too.

"If I go to put stuff in the bin she’ll go, “Mummy, no!” She knows if it can’t be recycled it’ll go into a hole in the ground [landfill]," Laura said.

She added: "We had to buy some plastic last year to cover our allotment and when we were in Wilkinson’s she said, 'Mummy, why are you buying plastic? It ruins our planet.'

"I explained that we needed this plastic but I could see the person next to me in the shop thinking, 'How are you going to get out of that one?!'"
