The cast of Grange Hill have reunited decades after acting together in the iconic BBC secondary school drama back in the 80s – and they look dramatically different these days.
Grange Hill was quite literally the talk of the playground back in the 1980s, so fans of the edgy teen show will likely remember having to rush home to catch the episodes in time.
It's no surprise, then, that Grange Hill lovers were overjoyed to find out that some of the biggest stars on the show had got together for a "mini-reunion" with their former on-screen classmates.

The star-studded meet-up was announced by Lee Macdonald, who played one of the most defining characters on the show, Samuel "Zammo" McGuire.
Lee took to Instagram on Tuesday morning (July 27) with a heartwarming photo showing him standing arm-in-arm with his fellow Grange Hill cohort Todd Carty, Erkan Mustafa and Simone Nylander.
Lee was sporting a jazzy white open-collar shirt, which was quite obviously a far cry from his Grange Hill uniform.
Todd played the rebellious Peter "Tucker" Jenkins, who starred in the first four seasons and later appeared in his own spin-off show, Tucker's Luck.
Tucker was known around school for his sweeping long brown hair and bomber jackets, but these days Todd had ditched the lengthy locks and opted for smarter attire, going by his dark shirt.

Erkan also looked very different 29 years after his TV debut as Roland "Roly" Browning on the Grange Hill playground, where he became an inspiration to young viewers for defending himself against bullies.
Mustafa has also buzzed off the hair, but he's still sporting a pair of specs like his beloved character.
Actress Simone was wowing with much longer brunette locks than her character of Janet, which she played between 1982 and 1986.
Caring Janet was always trying to help Roland avoid the bullies and coined the catchphrase: "I just want to help you Roland!"

She looked stylish in a chic beige cardigan along with a white shirt and green trouser combo.
Lee was glad to catch up with his classmates as he wrote: "Mini Grange Hill reunion with Tucker, Roland and Janet #greatmemories x."
Grange Hill fanatics were delighted to see their favourite TV students side-by-side so long after the show, so it was no surprise they rushed to celebrate in the comments.
One fan wrote: "Love this. Hope you guys are ok x," as a second gushed: "Ahh love this… great to see you all!!"
A third said: "Old school cast, from an old school children’s drama, about an old school. What great pic. Roll-land"
Lee's Zammo was at the centre of a ground-breaking and hugely controversial storyline for a children's programme.
Zammo became addicted to heroin and distressing scenes were shown of the teenage schoolboy slumped in the toilet, with a glazed, out-of-it look.
The storyline prompted a national campaign to raise awareness about the dangers of drugs and addiction, which Lee was the face of and he joined the rest of the cast in recording a charity single, Just Say No, which reached the top 10 in the UK charts.
Lee went on to star in EastEnders, Birds of a Feather, The Bill and a TV adaptation of A Midsummer Night's Dream, but now works as a locksmith in Wallington, Sutton.
Todd went on to become famous for his role as Mark Fowler in EastEnders and became one of the longest-serving cast members over 13 years until he rode off on his motorbike in 2013.
Todd returned to Grange Hill in 2003, resuming the role of Tucker in just one episode before appearing in the last ever series in 2008.
Erkan has gone on to star in Lenny Henry's 90s sitcom Chef! with other appearances in Soccer AM and Celebrity Juice.
Grange Hill started in 1978 and continued throughout the 80s, 90s and noughties before finally hanging up its school blazer in 2008.
Simone has gone into production work and modelling, but she's kept in touch with her TV roots by working in production for Channel Four and the BBC.
