Gwen Stefani fans beg ‘stop messing with your face’ as new clip sparks concern

Gwen Stefani fans have begged her to "stop messing with her face" after a new promo video for The Voice has been released.

The pop star is a judge on The Voice and has recently been hit with claims that she looks "unrecognisable."

After an appearance on Late Night With Seth Meyers, viewers were shocked at how much the 52 year old had changed.

The promo clip showed Gwen sat tin the iconic Voice chair all glammed up in a pink sparkly dress with tight and a stunning up do hairstyle.

The video was posted to The Voices Instagram on Monday (19 September) ahead of the new season kicking off.

The caption for the video was: ""What's your go-to song for a chair turn?"

However, the video didn't get viewers excited for the new season as most people commented on Gwen's appearance.

One person wrote: "So love Gwen but stop messing with your eyes. They are disappearing."

A second commented: "Wish she would stop having work done on her face."

While a third penned: ""The face filler has to stop. Watch her cheeks. They don't move."

A fourth questioned: "What's happened to her face??"

While a fifth commented: ""She doesn't even look like herself anymore."

Gwen previously received similar criticism from fans when she appeared on Late Night With Seth Meyer to promote the new season of The Voice.

Gwen had her hair straightened and wore a stunning fishnet outfit but again viewers were distracted by the stars appearance.

Viewers took to social media and commented on her look.

One said: ""I didn't even notice who she was, I was like no that's not her and I looked up recent videos of her. Yeah… That's really Gwen. Please stop. No more surgeries.""

A second said: ""Gwen Stefani?" Even when I know it's her, I don't recognise her…"

Even though fans think she may have had "surgery" Gwen has previously spoken to Elle about how she keeps her youthful looks.

She told the publication: "The one thing that I have really changed is trying to get all the makeup off.

"The key is to keep [your face] clean at night. Let your face breath (because I really don't let it breathe at any other time)."

The performer said: "I have done my own make-up all of my life.

"Only until recently have I got to work with amazing people and that's what's so fun with the community, everybody is sharing."
