ACTOR Ian Smith is one of many legends to head back to Ramsay Street ahead of the show's finale.
The Harold Bishop star reappeared in today's instalment of Neighbours on Channel 5, leaving fans in tears.
Ramsay Street welcomed back one of its most iconic residents in the form of café owner Harold Bishop.
The Erinsborough stalwart reappeared mere weeks before the Aussie soap is due to come off the air and surprised Susan and Karl Kennedy (respectively portrayed by legendary actors Jackie Woodburne and Alan Fletcher).
Harold, and more particularly Ian Smith, had not been seen in Neighbours since 2015 after appearing sporadically in the long-running drama for decades.
"Only me!", he yelled and Susan couldn't contain her emotion – much like man soap viewers witnessing the heartwarming scene.

Clearly over the moon, Susan wrapped her arms around her pal to give him the biggest hug she could as Karl was equally taken aback.
The couple then insisted to welcome Harold at their residence during his stay in Ramsay Street.
Other residents in the likes of Amy Greenwood (played by Jacinta Stapleton), Jane Harris (Annie Jones) and close friend Toadie (Ryan Moloney) were just as happy to see Harold back in town.
The character will remain a fixture of the program until its last episode is aired on Channel 5, which is due on July 29, 2022.

Neighbours finale air date revealed as Channel 5 schedules double bill
As Neighbours fans already know, the beloved Australian soap will come off the air after 37 years.
Channel 5 revealed it would no longer air the program in an attempt to focus on more UK drama.
This decision left Neighbours bosses with no other option but to drop production of the soap altogether.
The finale was initially due to air in August but the finale date was ultimately pushed forward.
Until Ramsay Street residents can wave goodbye to viewers around the world, the last weeks of Neighbours will include the returns of multiple soap legends, as mentioned above.
Behind-the-scenes snaps were shared as the cast wrapped up filming in Melbourne on June 10, 2022.
