Zachary Levi takes to Instagram to share a picture of him posing next to ‘Shazam!’ promo image featuring his character in costume.

Despite some leaked photos from the set, Warner Bros. has not released an official image of “Shazam!” yet. But thanks to Zachary Levi, we have now got the first official look at his take on the DC superhero and his costume.

Ahead of Licensing Expo in Las Vegas, the “Chuck” alum took to his Instagram page on Monday, May 21 to share a photo of him next to a promo image of the movie. The huge artwork features Shazam enjoying a soda in a childlike way and gives a better look at the superhero’s costume.

“This! This is what dreams are made of,” the actor captioned it. “Complete and total wish fulfillment, plus a beverage! All the squeees. #LicensingShowLasVegas #SHAZAMmovie #FirstLook?”

The official synopsis for “Shazam!” reads, “We all have a superhero inside us, it just takes a bit of magic to bring it out. In Billy Batson’s case, by shouting out one word–SHAZAM!–this streetwise 14-year-old foster kid can turn into the adult Super Hero Shazam, courtesy of an ancient wizard.Still a kid at heart–inside a ripped, godlike body–Shazam revels in this adult version of himself by doing what any teen would do with superpowers: have fun with them!”

“Can he fly? Does he have X-ray vision? Can he shoot lightning out of his hands? Can he skip his social studies test?” it continues, “Shazam sets out to test the limits of his abilities with the joyful recklessness of a child. But he’ll need to master these powers quickly in order to fight the deadly forces of evil controlled by Dr. Thaddeus Sivana.”

Asher Angel portrays young Billy Batson, with Jack Dylan Grazer, Grace Fulton, Faithe Herman, Ian Chen and Jovan Armand playing members of Billy’s foster family. Cooper Andrews and Marta Milans are cast as Billy’s foster parents, Victor and Rosa Vasquez, while Ron Cephas Jones stars as the Wizard. Mark Strong is tapped as Dr. Thaddeus Sivana.

Written by Christopher Markus and Stephen McFeely, the movie is directed by David F. Sandberg (“Lights Out“, “Annabelle: Creation“). It is set to arrive on April 5, 2019 in the United States.
