Hollyoaks Rafe star’s life – The Crown role, shirtless snaps and off-screen bond

Hollyoaks star Lord Rafe Harcourt has caused quite a stir since entering the soap earlier this year.

Off-screen bond

It was confirmed earlier this year that Chris would be joining the cast of Hollyoaks as Rafe.

Ahead of his debut, he said: "Joining the team at Hollyoaks feels a bit like meeting the family of a partner you really like, a little bit intimidating but also very fulfilling.

"There's a real closeness throughout the departments and I've been welcomed into the fold with grace.

"Working with Anna [Passey, who plays Sienna Blake] has been an utter joy. Not only as an actor but as a person too.

"Sienna's journey collides with Rafe and there's… well, Fireworks! Not the usual man around town. The mystery and complexity of a road less travelled is something I'm really looking forward to playing and sharing with the fans."

TV past

Before landing the role in Hollyoaks, Chris appeared in several other TV shows.

Fans may recognise him from his role as the Duke of Edinbrugh's Valet in Netflix's The Crown.

He also portrayed the role of Gethin in Sky One drama Stella and played Jeb Cornish in Father Brown.

More recently, Chris took on the character Otto Kretschmer in U-Boat Wargamers for one episode.

Stripping off

Away from the Channel 4 soap, Chris enjoys documenting his lavish lifestyle on social media in view of his followers.

From stripping completely naked and showing off his ripped physique to posing for mirror selfies, the actor clearly isn't one to shy away from the cameras.

In one snap from January 2022, the soap star looks completely different with short hairs as he currently sports luscious longer locks while playing Rafe.

Hollyoaks airs weeknights on channel 4 at 6.30pm followed by first-look episodes on E4 at 7pm
