Former Hollyoaks star Abi Phillips has been rushed to hospital and spent 18 hour in A&E after she was robbed in Ibiza.

The 29-year-old soap star, best known for playing Liberty Savage on the Channel 4 soap, took to her social media to inform fans about the scary situation.

In a snap she shared on her Instagram Story, Abi’s bandaged arm can be seen with a cannula inserted in it.

A gutted Abi wrote: "1 stolen phone and 18 hours in A&E later,” with an upside-down emoji.

The actress is yet to update fans further on how she’s doing, but did upload a snap of her partying the night away.

Wearing a mesh top and black bra, Abi looked sensational in the skimpy ensemble – that she teamed with denim shorts.

In the caption she wrote: “Suing Ibiza for theft and attempted murder it was worth it though.”

Abi made her debut on Hollyoaks aged just 16 in 2010 – but in July 2013, she decided to quit acting in a bid to pursue her dream career in the music industry.

In 2022, she revealed she had sadly been diagnosed with thyroid cancer aged 28.

The Channel 4 star emotionally told fans in a heartfelt post: "You never think it’s going to happen to you."

Abi had found two lumps in her neck but because she believed she had youth on her side, she never for a second thought it could be cancer.

But thankfully, she decided to get the growths checked out for her own "peace of mind".

After the meeting with a specialist, Abi was told that the lumps were concerning and that she would require surgery and radiotherapy.

Earlier this year, the TV beauty revealed she had gotten engaged to her partner of 11 years.

In a stunning Instagram post, Abi and her partner Gav stood in front of Lake Garda in Italy.

Captioning the string of snaps, she wrote: "So this happened last night!

“The most magical week in Lake Garda, with my favourite person in the world @gavgilly ended with us getting engaged, the most perfect proposal at sunset at the edge of the lake."

She continued: "The last 11 years together have been the best of my life and I’m so looking forward to forever together.

"Thank you for making this trip the most incredible week, it will forever hold a place in my heart."
