A HOLLYWOOD A-list actor has been spotted looking unrecognisable in a new blockbuster film set.
The star – who is known for appearing on the Disney Channel series Even Stevens – was transformed with a dark brown mullet for his new role.
American actor Shia LaBeouf, who plays Sam Witwicky in the Transformers franchise, looked very different from his fresh-faced character.
Shia, 36, has appeared in a number of films – from Padre Pio to Fury – sporting rugged facial hair and short dark locks.
But now the actor has been seen sporting a mullet hair cut on the set of his new film, which is shooting in America.
He is due to start in Francis Ford Coppola's Megalopolis, which is currently halfway into filming, alongside Adam Driver.

Dustin Hoffman, Jason Schwartzman, Nathalie Emmanuel, Aubrey Plaza and Forrest Whittaker also make up the cast.
In new scenes shot this week, Shia was unrecognisable thanks to his long hair cut and lack of facial hair.
Shia, who is often seen sporting a bear when he's not filming, was fresh faced and appeared to be wearing make-up, thanks to his carefully shaped eyebrows.
He donned a black skirt, shirt and blazer with long socks and boots as part of the outfit for the role.

Megalopolis follows the story of New York City being rebuilt as a utopia after it's left flattened by a disaster.
The film has previously seen Shia don full drag, including a long white dress and gold crown, as part of filming.
The actor looked similarly unrecognisable in the low-cut white dress, which he paired with gold high heels and a gold corset.
The Hollywood actor rose to fame in Even Stevens back in 2001 and 2002, and followed up with a role in Transformers in 2007.
He has since starred in two Transformers spin-offs in 2009 and 2011, as well as Honey Boy in 2019.
It comes after Shia and his wife, Mia Goth, welcomed their first child together as the actress was spotted without a bump.
The two were spotted in Pasadena while they were taking a stroll with their child, according to Page Six.
Mia was reportedly pregnant back in November 2021, with TMZ reported Mia's "baby bump" was apparent and that she seemed to be "about four to five months along".
Mia was previously seen out and about without her baby bump just a few weeks after the star showed it off while in Pasadena, California.
At the time, she sported pair of black leggings and a white long sleeve shirt that put the bottom of her belly on display.
