SINGER and actor Kevin Jonas was once a world famous Disney star and pop sensation – but he gave it all up to do a very different job.
His band The Jonas Brothers – formed with younger brothers Joe and Nick in 2007 – released four albums and sold more than 20 million records.
Like many other stars, Kevin launched his acting career on the Disney channel – and became hugely successful, racking up an estimated worth of $40million.
But when the band with his brothers temporarily broke up in 2013, the 35-year-old explored other career options.
And he made a very surprising move – taking up a job as a contractor.
Kevin even launched his own construction company – under the name Jonas Werner Homes.

In 2014, Kevin made a cameo on an episode of The Real Housewives of New Jersey when he was drafted in to lead the construction on Housewife Kathy Wakile's new home.
On the show, Kathy claimed that contracting was Kevin's "next stage" in life.
After settling down with a family, he reportedly wanted a job which would allow him more time at home – and a little more flexibility.
In an interview for Bravo, Kathy said Kevin has "extensive knowledge" in the industry.
She said: "Rich and I were introduced to Kevin Jonas and his partner Bill Werner through our mutual friend and realtor.
"There were a few very good qualities in their building style that we were drawn to, in particular the fact that they were practical in their construction approach and goals.
"And Kevin has an extensive knowledge of home automation and electronic features for the home."
As well as running his own construction firm, Kevin is also the chief executive of The Blu Market – a communications firm.
The company created a food app called Yood in 2015.
He's also collaborated with wife Danielle on some projects – launching the Amazing Baby Days app.
The innovative app helps couples capture moments throughout pregnancy and into the first year of their child's life.
