I was on Four in a Bed and clashed with show bosses after they refused my only request | The Sun

A FORMER Four in a Bed contestant has revealed how they clashed with show bosses over one request.

John Commons runs the Victoria Bikers Pub in Leicestershire and took part in the Channel 4 show in 2017.

The episode was repeated recently, bringing even more attention to his property, but John admits he almost didn't take part.

He said: "When Channel 4 asked us to do it we didn't do it initially. We didn’t want to.

“But then they asked us again and we did an interview with them and I said that I would only do it on a Thursday night.”

However, Four in a Bed bosses told John they couldn't guarantee that.

He continued to Express.co.uk: "I said, ‘Well, on a Thursday night, it’s our bike night,’

“’Our car park is full of motorbikes, and this is what we're about.’”

He also said he would have live music on the night to create an atmosphere.

He said: "I told them ‘If you want to film on that night I'll put a band on or two and then you'll get a true reflection of what we're about'.
