Im A Celeb fans spot Ant and Decs legendary reaction as Matt Hancock left jungle

I’m A Celebrity fans branded hosts Ant and Dec “legendary” as they reacted to Matt Hancock coming in third place and finally being voted to leave the jungle.

Fans said the presenting duo looked “relieved” as they announced the news, which meant the former health secretary wouldn’t be able to be named the winner of the ITV show.

The crown instead went to Lioness Jill Scott, with the footballer beating Hollyoaks star Owen Warner to the title.

“I can’t believe this,” said Jill as she was crowned queen of the jungle, with Ant and Dec revealing the show had received more than 12 million votes in the final.

"Ant and Dec look relieved as the nation finally wakes up and votes Matt off #ImACelebrity #ImACeleb how he made it to the final three though,” wrote one fan on Twitter.

Another wrote: "You can tell how much Ant & Dec can’t stand him. Legends #imaceleb #imacelebrity”.

A third shared: “You can absolutely feel the awkwardness from Ant & Dec having to talk to him, especially Ant.

"It's forced and awful to watch, they are clearly uncomfortable and not falling for his bulls***. Just wishing it over, same as most of us. #ImACeleb."

The hosts weren’t shy of sharing their opinions on Matt throughout the series, and pair questioned the MP for his reasons for going on the show when he exited the jungle.

Speaking to Ant and Dec, Matt said: "I wanted to show what I was like as a person. Lots of people come to me with preconceived ideas, for obvious reasons.

"And I just wanted to be myself. But I also actually strongly believe that for politicians as a whole, we don't come across as human enough. And this is probably the most extreme way of just showing who you are, I am someone who throws himself into things.

"And we managed to talk about some important things here."

On being grilled by his campmates about his reasons for going on the show, Matt added: "I was expecting that and some of those were grillings and some were a release because I could say what I thought and some were very emotional.

"I live with them and I feel it. But what I was able to and what I was grateful, was we had really grown up conversations about it."

Following his arrival Matt was voted to take part in six consecutive Bushtucker Trials, while campmate Boy George told the MP he’d been “hating on him”.

"I have to be honest. I sometimes feel like you don't say what you mean and you're not particularly direct,” said George.

Jill was in disbelief as she was announced winner of the ITV series. “I just can't believe it,” she said. "Honestly, I'm gonna owe my grandma, a lot of money for the 12 million votes that came in. It's definitely hard to take in.

"These guys have been incredible, there shouldn't be just one winner, we couldn't have got through it without each other."

Jill was given her crown by fourth place campmate Mike Tindall before being reunited with her fiancé Shelly Unitt.

Traditionally the show’s previous series winner crowns the new king or queen of the jungle, but last year’s victor Dany Miller confirmed that he wouldn’t be travelling to Australia due to work commitments.

"It would be nice wouldn't it. Well I'm actually doing panto this year, oh yes I am. So I won't be able to make it,” said the Emmerdale actor.

Actor Owen finished in second place and said of his campmate winning: "I'm so gassed for Jill, I think everyone agrees. No one deserves it more than Jill!"
