I’m A Celeb’s Owen Warner impresses fans and campmates with his hidden talent

Owen Warner might be known best for his acting skills as the hunky Romeo Nightingale in Hollyoaks, but the soap opera star also has a hidden talent.

The 23 year old actor showed off his impressive skill to his I'm A Celeb campmates, leading to viewers taking to Twitter to gush over him.

The Leicester actor told his fellow campmates Jill Scott and Seann Walsh that he can cry on demand – something that has been incredibly helpful to him as an actor, the Mirror reports.

During Friday night's episode, Owen said: “When I first got on set, I’d watch X Factor or Britain’s Got Talent auditions, the really good ones, where they get a golden buzzer or there’s an emotional story to it…”

To which Seann asked: “You’d watch that to cry?”

Owen said: “Yeah.”

Seann laughed: “I can’t believe that. That’s hilarious! Can you teach us to cry?”

Jill admitted: “I don’t cry in real life, but come on, let’s try.”

Owen then instructed: “Pick a point, don’t blink… focus your eyes… really focus on your breathing. Think about how your breathing goes when you cry.”

Loving it, Seann said to Jill: “You look like you’re crying!”

Jill then pretended to act out an emotional scene, to which Owen praised her, saying: "That was very good," while Jill exclaimed: "I've actually got a tear."

Owen is now one of the top bookies' favourites to win and become King of the Jungle, but Jill Scott is also in with a strong chance of winning the TV show.

A recent poll over the weekend revealed Jill had 14.5 per cent of the vote when asked who people wanted to win, while also coming in second in another poll of the favourite campmate with 11 per cent of the vote, which could go up as more stars are voted out.

Mike Tindall and Owen Warner were both close behind, with the rugby star receiving 13.6 per cent and Owen getting 7.2 per cent when it came to fan favourites.

But since the polling closed, Owen has since completed a trial and won nine out of nine stars for camp, as well as becoming more endearing to viewers as the show has progressed.

Taking to Twitter, viewers shared their love for Owen as he gave out the lesson to the campmates. One person wrote: "Owen watching X-Factor/BGT auditions to cry before an emotional scene on set is so wholesome."

Another wrote: "OWEN WATCHES EMOTIONAL X-FACTOR STORIES TO CRY ON SET….. #ImACeleb", while a third said: "Jill and Seann trying to learn to cry on demand by Owen" along with a teary-eyed emoji.
