‘Indiana Jones 5’ Is Pushed Back Again to 2021, ‘Maleficent 2’ Gets Release Date

It was previously reported that the fifth ‘Indiana Jones’ movie would miss its initial 2020 release date as the movie’s production has been postponed due to script issues.

Disney has announced release dates for some of its upcoming movies, including a new date for “Indiana Jones V“. The new installment of the adventure film series is pushed back a year from its scheduled date of July 10, 2020 to July 9, 2021.

The delayed release of “Indiana Jones V” is not surprising though, since in late June it was reported that the production had been delayed. Initially slated to kick off in April 2019 in the United Kingdom, the filming has been pushed back by months, if not a year.

Additionally, Disney announced a shift of release date for an untitled Marvel movie. The superhero film, which was originally scheduled for a July 30, 2021 release, is moved up several months to February 12, 2021. An untitled live-action Disney movie will now take over the July 30 date.
