Matt Goss and Nadiya Bychkova had to perform their Jive to All Shook Up by Paul McCartney again while Kym Marsh and Graziano Di Prima danced their Samba to Volare by Gipsy Kings for a second time. After the two performances, Matt was eliminated from the competition after earlier revealing he had put his “heart and soul” into his Strictly Come Dancing experience.
After finding out he was in the dreaded dance-off for a second time, Matt told Tess Daly: “It’s emotional you put your heart and soul in it.”
Following the judges’ decision, Matt praised his partner Nadiya.
Opening up on his time on the show, Matt said: “It’s an extraordinary experience, I have been in America for 25 years.
“Thank you judges for your candour, you’ve helped me in many ways, my posture – Anton, I am more aware of it.

“This lovely lady beside me, a world champion with all the patience. I am very honoured to have danced with you, and everyone who is still in, I love you guys, go smash it guys.”
Turning to her partner, Nadiya added: “First I’m so grateful that I got to teach and dance with a music icon.
“But, more important than this, I got the privilege to get to know Matt, for who you really are.
“Not many people know you and you’re a beautiful soul, very kind human and a real gentleman.”
After Nadiya’s kind words, Matt broke down in tears as he admitted he was an “emotional person” to Tess.
“It’s emotional, isn’t it? It’s an emotional journey. Are you okay, Matt?” Tess asked.
Wiping tears away, Matt replied: “I’m sorry I’m emotional, I’m an emotional person.
“I wish my mum was here and my sister was here but the British public have really made me feel really welcome so thank you for welcoming me back after 25 years.”

Tess added: “Thank you so much for being here. We’ve absolutely loved you being apart of the show.
“On behalf of all the Bross fans all over the world it’s been an honour to have you with us.”
Craig Revel Horwood, Motsi Mabuse and Anton Du Beck all voted to save Kym.
Anton remarked: “I would just like to say you should both be thrilled with the way you performed in the dance off, it’s the most high pressured of situations.
“Matt – that’s your best performance of the whole series, you should be really proud of yourself.
“But the couple with the higher technical ability, I think for me, going through is Kym and Graziano.”
Head judge Shirley Ballas revealed she would have also sent Matt home.
She said: “I also felt that both couples were 100% committed, spot on performances today. But the couple with a little bit more technical skill was Kym and Graziano and that’s who I’d save.”
Strictly Come Dancing continues on BBC One on Saturday at 6.30pm
