ITVs James Martin supported by fans as he issues surprising career announcement

James Martin fans have said that they "didn't know" about his hidden talent as they support his career news.

Much-loved TV chef James recently shared a post about his tour on Instagram and Twitter, with his fans flocking to the posts to show their support for the star.

Although fans flocked to his social media pages, some fans admitted they "didn't realise" he had a talent in singing and a passion for music.

Taking to social media to share a string of snaps from his last cookery tour, James could be seen with a guitar in front of a packed venue.

Speaking about his tour in the caption, the TV chef couldn't help but feel proud of himself when he uploaded the photos.

Alongside the snap, he wrote: "One year ago today was the end of the tour at The Palladium…

"As a kid you can’t even dream of this happening but it did!! And even better, we are going on the road again in October and I can’t wait! If you’ve not got tickets there’s a few still available."

Fans were quick to comment on the post, with many gushing over James' successful and multitalented career, while one fan had no clue about his little known talent that he sometimes demonstrates at shows.

"Didn't realise you sang as well. Good old Lancashire lad," penned one fan on Twitter, clearly in shock after finding out about James' singing career.

Someone else then added: "We saw you in Bath, brilliant night, didn't stop singing Don't Stop Believing for days! Glad your dream came true, you deserve it James."

"Well done chef. Here's to [an] amazing tour again. Congratulations on another successful achievement," added a third.

While a fourth person penned: "Front row this time."

And a fifth said: "We’ll be there. Been to every tour so far."

James' show is entitled James Martin Live and he will be taking it on the road this October and performing for 21 different audiences up and down the country.

From Eastbourne to London, Blackpool to Ipswich and Manchester to Glasgow, James will be taking to the stage to entertain audiences with live demonstrations and cooking tasks.

Not only does James demonstrate how to cook, but he sometimes whips out his guitar and sings a tune.

Last year in Plymouth he sang a rendition of Journey's Don't Stop Believin' where he played an electric guitar and crooned for his fans.
