From her raunchiest sex confessions to her romances and relationships, Daily Star takes a look inside her love life and raciest admissions.
Sex with lodger
In 2020 Janet admitted that she had sex with her lodger instead of charging him for rent.
The then-73-year-old star left her fellow Loose Women panellists Coleen Nolan, Andrea McLean and Brenda Edwards stunned when she made the raunchy confession.
During a discussion about taking on a lodger to combat loneliness, Janet – who has been wed five times – made a confession on live TV.
She said: "I'd have male lodgers between divorces. Not at the same time, one after the other.
"And I've got to admit… I did have sex with one of my lodgers because I didn't charge him rent!"
Brenda then asked: "So he was a lodger with benefits?"
"Exactly. The only thing I asked of him was that he always had some crumpets in the fridge," Janet added.
Never stops thinking about sex
Back in 2017 when she was 71 years of age, Janet spoke to The Mirror when she gave an insight into her sex life.
She told the paper: "When I was in my 20s, I couldn't imagine older people like my parents having sex. But now older people are less embarrassed about talking about it.
"There was a survey recently that said that people in their 80s were having more sex than people in their 60s."
Janet went on: Older people don't stop thinking about sex: they might want it differently, or not as often, but they don't lose their sensory perception, or their need to be tactile. When you reach 70, your bits don't just drop off!"
Four marriages
While she was studying architecture as a teen, Janet married for the first time to fellow student and photographer Tim Street-Porter.
The couple were married until 1975, and in the same year she went on to wed Time Out editor Tony Elliot.
Speaking about her marriage to Tony on Loose Women, Janet revealed that it was a "mistake".
She told the panel at the time: “I turned to him and said, ‘Well that was a mistake,' within 24 hours [of marrying] and he said, ‘I agree’.
“I said, ‘We were such great friends, exactly the same age, why on earth did we get married?’”
Her third marriage was to film director Frank Cvitanovich, who was 19 years her senior.
And her fourth was when she was in her fifties to the 27-year-old David Sorkin, with the pair getting hitched in Las Vegas.
Currently unmarried, Janet is now in a relationship with restaurateur Peter Spanton.
Sex toy admission
In November 2017 Janet appeared on Loose Women alongside Coleen Nolan, Stacey Solomon and Linda Robson.
While on the ITV1 show, the panel discussed "double dipping" canapes at Christmas parties, and how they do or don't agree with it.
Speaking to her fellow panellists, Janet shocked her co-stars and viewers at home when she started speaking about pigs in blankets.
Revealing that she had never tried one before, Janet explained how she actually thought that pigs in blankets were sex toys.
The small sausages wrapped in bacon are a staple Christmas food in the UK, so Janet's admission left everybody reeling.
Janet said: "I was up north last week and me and my friend were talking about getting ready for Christmas and she said 'you can always serve them pigs in blankets.'"
Coleen exclaimed: "Oh I love them," before adding: "They're one of those chipolata sausages with bacon wrapped round it, you have at Christmas."
Looking confused, Janet then blurted out: "I thought it was a kind of sex toy!"
Wild past
Speaking on Loose Women back in February 2022, Janet discussed her wild past where she had "loads of sex".
Jane Moore opened the conversation on the ITV1 show by saying: "Apparently it's the decade that more than two thirds of us miss the most, as they were happier with the slower pace of life. So, Janet do you miss the 80s?"
Janet replied: "I'm not a particularly nostalgic person. I loved the 80s. I had a load of laughs and it wasn't a slow pace of life for me.
"I had loads of sex, whatever, and rock and roll," she brazenly admitted.
Janet then added: "And I was doing one TV series after another as a producer. I had a great time."
