I'M A Celeb star Josie Gibson has revealed the terrifying reason she was rushed to hospital after her stint Down Under.
The TV presenter, 38, yesterday let slip her secret A&E dash just days after leaving jungle.
She told viewers on Thursday's instalment of This Morning that she paid a visit to the hospital last Friday.
Speaking during a guest appearance on ITV's Loose Women today, Josie opened up on her surprising ordeal.
She told the panel: "When I came out I was on the flight coming home and I just started to feel really unwell, I was shivering. And then when I got back I had severe tonsilitus. I couldn't breathe.
"So I got taken to hospital on Friday. They gave me lots of steroids to bring all the swelling down. It was a bit touch whether I could have made This Morning."

She thanked the NHS staff as she praised them for their hard work.
She said: "I just want to thank everyone at the RUH in Bath without you I would not have been able to do This Morning without them.
"So thank you to all the doctors and nurses."
She she had been "hanging on by a thread" some days during her recovering but was glad to be home.

It comes after Josie revealed she will be spending Christmas at a luxury hotel this year.
The presenter spent Christmas Day with Alison Hammond last year, but this time she's splashing out on some much needed rest and relaxation.
Josie and her son Reggie will be staying at the 5 star Celtic Manor Hotel in Wales, which has hosted the likes of Barack Obama in the past and can cost up to £500 a night.
The stunning hotel is set around three championship golf courses, boasts a spa, private lodges for guests and a number of top class restaurants.
Josie let slip her plans on yesterday's This Morning when chef Clodagh McKenna told her she could make her canapes for Christmas Day.
The Bristolian presenter is thought to have been paid £100k for her time on I’m A Celebrity, which saw her come in fourth place.
And she’s also set to make even more money as The Sun revealed she is set to get a 50% pay rise as part of the upcoming This Morning reshuffle.
Josie has had talks to feature more prominently and regularly — which means a bumper new pay packet.
A source said: “Josie will get a new role on the show, and be bumped up to two days a week.”
