Kate Garraway has been forced to pull out of hosting Good Morning Britain to spend time with her husband Derek Draper in hospital, it has been reported.
Kate's 54-year-old husband Derek has been rushed back into hospital as he remains 'seriously ill' following his battle with Covid, according to The Sun.
A source allegedly close to the family has said he remains "seriously unwell" and has been receiving specialist care at the hospital.
Derek fell into a coma after catching Covid in 2020 and became the country's longest suffering Covid patient following a 13 month stint in hospital.

He was able to go back home with Kate and their two children – sixteen-year-old Darcey and 12-year-old Billy – but has since been in and out of hospital as his condition has worsened.
A source told The Sun: "Derek has been taken back to hospital this morning in a very serious condition.
"The family are very worried about him but Derek is in the best hands.
"Kate is by his side and is keeping it together as best she can. She’s a total professional and devoted to her work – both on Good Morning Britain and Smooth – but she had no choice but to step away this week to be there with him."
The source added that it is an incredibly difficult time for Kate and her family.
It is believed Kate has been keeping Derek company at the hospital as he has been monitored be leading medical consultants.
Daily Star has contacted representatives of Kate and ITV for comment.
