Katie Price enjoys weekend away with mum and sister after taking time out of spotlight

KATIE Price is enjoying a weekend away with her mum and sister after quitting social media to take time out of the spotlight.

The 42-year-old was spotted in a family selfie at The Kennels, Goodwood, close to her Sussex home.

Doctors told her to stay in bed and take it easy following fears she had an injection from her painful foot operation.

But keen to make the most of Bank Holiday Weekend and have some much-needed family time, Katie headed to the stylish clubhouse in her casts.

This week The Sun revealed Katie was coming off social media to focus on herself after doctors sliced open her heels during foot surgery.

A source said: "Doctors have told her she needs to rest in order to heal.

"She's been living her life almost as normal and not taking it seriously, and now she's found herself getting a talking-to by the doctor.

"She's determined to get better now and is taking a two-week break from everything to focus on healing."

Earlier this week, Katie called boyfriend Carl Woods her "rock", saying he had been there for her at her "lowest".

However, as Katie took a break from the spotlight to recover from her two broken feet, Carl has shared an Instagram post about "respect".

He added the meme onto his Story, which read: "I don't respect those who don't respect me. You call it ego I call it respect."
