The TV star will begin filming scenes for her Quest Red reality show next month, with camera crews following her every move inside her home and at work.
But in court earlier this week, Katie insisted, through her solicitor, she wasn’t courting public attention.
After Katie refused to give her full address in court, her solicitor said: "The position is she has been trying to become anonymous for some time."
But District Judge Dean denied the request for special treatment, saying: "I think the public and members of the press are entitled to know the address of the defendant. All defendants are treated equally."
Katie was in court to plead not guilty to being double the limit when her £75,000 pink Range Rover crashed into a bush in Woolwich, South East London, in the early hours of October 10 last year.
The 2am smash is claimed to have happened as she was returning home from celebrating her then boyfriend Kris Boyson's 30th birthday at a Turkish restaurant.
Katie was breathalysed and allegedly found to have 69 microgrammes of alcohol per 100 millilitres of breath after the crash. The legal limit is 35 microgrammes.
“Katie will be letting cameras into her life again in February, and after the success of the last series it’s going to be even more extreme,” says an insider.
“They’ll see her arguing with [boyfriend] Kris Boyson, going through the court battle and crying over her mum’s illness.
“Viewers will get to see every aspect of her life – from the highs to the lows to the all-out screaming rows.”
