Eight years ago today (February 6) Katie Price won Celebrity Big Brother after a famous stint on the reality TV show.

Heading into the Big Brother house with a bunch of other celebrities, Katie finally agreed to appearing on the show after previously being invited and declining.

Getting the glamour model into the Big Brother house was a tough feat with an alleged six figure fee being agreed, plus an agreement for her to have a hair stylist visit her every other day.

With the likes of Perez Hilton, Michelle Visage, Nadia Sawalha, Calum Best and Katie Hopkins in the house, the fifteenth series airing in 2015 was undoubtedly one of the most memorable series ever.

Scroll on as we take a look at Katie's iconic journey in the CBB house – from entering late to winning the series and being crowned.

Entering late

Katie entered the Big Brother house on day 10 and ended up remaining there until the final day – day 31.

In a pre-entrance interview she was asked if she was "in it to win it", to which she replied: "It has not even crossed my mind. I will have some fun and what happens, happens."

When she walked into the house she donned a huge golden princess frock, complete with a crown and red painted talons.

Doctor on standby for boobs

Her pre-entry interview stated that Katie was "still recovering from a boob reduction".

She added: "Big Brother is aware of it. I had my boobs reduced."

Before revealing: "There is a doctor on standby the whole time to keep checking me, but other than that my banter is still there!"

In 2019, four years after her stint in the house, Katie said she was almost ejected from the Big Brother house the night before her win as doctors feared for her breasts.

Speaking in a YouTube video about her memories the CBB house, Katie said: "The night before that [the final] they wanted me out of the house – the doctors and that – because my implant was hanging out."

She went on: "They had to check me every four to five hours because of my temperature.

"They said if my temperature went up I would have had to leave because I was going to get septicaemia in my blood.

"I was really, really poorly," she added.

Hair stylist once a week

According to The Sun, celebrity stylist Mikey Kardashian visited Katie in the infamous diary room every other day.

On alternate days the hair stylist would give her a wash and a blow-dry, although the styling sessions were not filmed or aired.

Speaking to the paper at the time, an insider revealed: "It took a long time to persuade Katie to do CBB and she came back with a list of demands, including having her hairdresser regularly visit her in the house.

"Bosses agreed because they were desperate to have Katie on the show."

Not only did Katie negotiate getting a hair stylist to visit her in the house, but it was reported at the time that she picked up a whopping six figure pay day.

Feud with Katie Hopkins

The two Katie's clashed at one point in the house when Katie Price took on Katie Hopkins, calling her a "boring" and telling her to "f*** off" – something that came after prior beef between the two on the outside.

It all began when Eamonn Holmes entered the house and quizzed celebrities as he hosted "CBB News".

Joined by Strictly Come Dancing professional James Jordan, the no-nonsense TV personality asked housemates if they felt that had "earned their pay cheques" to appear on the show.

"They [bosses] haven’t got value for money with me," Katie quipped.

James replied: "I think when you came in everything calmed down.

"People are getting bored and think it's a PR stunt."

Defending herself, Katie said: "This is me. I can't have banter like I would with my friends. There's no banter in this house."

Ripping into Katie Hopkins, The Mirror reported at the time that Pricey slammed: "You're play acting. You can shut up for a minute.

"…If you make any more remarks about fat kids and what they will eat I will say something.

"Boring. F*** off. There you go you've got an argument from me, well done."

'Conjoined monster' wardrobe malfunction

At one point Katie and Katie put their differences aside and became the conjoined Katie Monster.

Both Katie's donned curly blonde wigs and floral straw hats as they both squeezed into a stretchy cardigan.

Although some fans thought it was funny, others were less than impressed as the two Katie's found themselves in a disability row.

"BB Kate's 'freak show' is sickest stunt ever," penned one on social media at the time.

While another said: "How was this passed as a task for CBB, 'the freak show' with conjoined twins. Could they be more offensive??? Seriously!"
