KATIE Price isn't the star's real name – and it's not Jordan either.

The 42-year-old model and reality star was given a Greek first name and not one but THREE middle names by her mum Amy.

Katie's full name is actually Katrina Amy Alexandria Alexis Infield.

The mouthful of a moniker was chosen by Katie’s mum, Amy, who loved the beautiful names and wanted Katie to have them all.

Mum-of-five Katie explained: “I hated mine, I was born Katrina Amy Alexandria Alexis Infield.

“I don't know what my mum was thinking!”

The former glamour model went on to change her name when she was 17.

Katie’s decision to drop her surname came after her biological father left home when she was just four-years-old.

Her mum went on to remarry Paul Price and she decided to take on his last name as her own.

While she used Katie for a couple of months, Katie changed it again – this time to Jordan to launch her glamour modelling career.

Katie previously said she chose the name Jordan because it sounded more catchy than Katie.

However she’s also admitted she did it to help protect her family, telling The Telegraph: “My mum was working in the City.

“She didn’t want people to know I was her daughter.”

As she got older, Katie dropped the name Jordan and rebranded herself.

In interviews, she would be referred to as “the model formerly known as Jordan” and hated when people didn’t use her full name.

Last year Katie announced she's dropping the name she's had throughout all her decades in the spotlight.

She will be known as "Katie Woods" – after her boyfriend Carl said he wouldn't marry her if she didn't.

Speaking in OK! she revealed she would be changing her name for the first time.

Katie explained: "We’re excited about everything; babies and marriage. I’ve even discussed it with my mum and what it will be like.

"And I’ll change my name from Katie Price to Katie Woods – I’ve never done that before."

Carl added: "I wouldn’t get married if you weren’t going to change your name."
