Posting on Instagram, Scottish actor Martin shared some hilarious footage of Vicky’s failed attempts to sneak up on him as he brushes them off with composed looks.
However, when he decides to get his own back and take Vicky by surprise, she isn’t quite so prepared – and ends up screaming and swearing at her co-star in a total panic.
Alongside the laugh out loud video, the 36 year old wrote: “Unflappable when in Arnott mode. Vicky McClure still screaming I’m sure.”

He then added a laughing face emoji, before teasing that Vicky’s reaction won’t be dissimilar to die hard viewers after they’ve tuned into this weekend’s Line of Duty, the fifth episode in the seven part run.
Martin continued: “Have a good weekend troops! Line of Duty 6 Episode 5 Sunday 9pm. Can see a few McClure reactions to the ending.”
This isn’t the first time Martin has said that this Sunday’s instalment could well be one of the best episodes of the hit series yet.

Again writing on his Instagram account, Martin joked about his alter-ego’s love of waistcoats, before whetting viewers’ appetites about what's in store.
“Episode 5 kicks off as stores re-open and there’s a sale on waistcoats,” he said alongside a snap of him in character.
He added: “In all seriousness though if you thought Ep 4 ended on a cliffhanger, you’ll need therapy by the end of Ep 5.”
This comes after fans of Jed Mercurio’s drama have been speculating over who DCI Joanne Davidson (Kelly Macdonald) could be related to following last week’s bombshell ending.
Names in the mix include the late John Corbett, played by Stephen Graham, and criminal Tommy Hunter, who was killed in an ambush during series two.
But only time will tell if any viewer guesses have been correct – or if we’re all about to be left open-mouthed at the revelations.
