LOOSE Women star Saira Khan has been praised for showing off her "real body" as she stripped off to a patterned bikini.
TV favourite Saira, 53, looked incredible as she posed for a mirror selfie in the two piece swimwear.
She wore her hair in a low ponytail and opted for a natural make-up look.
Saira then told her fans that she was proud to wear a bikini in her 50s and urged people to "stop worrying about your age" and do what makes them happy.
Alongside the photo, she wrote: "Should a woman over 50 wear a bikini? – I saw this being debated a few days ago and my answer is a huge YES YOU CAN!
"Go for it ladies – you’ve only got one life. Stop listening to these stupid debates and stop worrying about your age and what others think. Do you."

She added: "This is me unfiltered, confident, real and this is the motto I live my life by."
Saira's fans applauded her for sharing this important body positive messaget.
Countdown star Carol Vorderman, who often wows fans daily with her inspirational posts, agreed that your age should not be the deciding factor in what you wear.
The mathematician wrote: "Absolutely…age and what you wear should never be in the same sentence…And society's views change.

Earlier this year Saira opened up about menopause and revealed it killed off her sex life.
In an interview, the star explained: "When I started going through the perimenopause my life was hell, the hot sweats were so extreme that I did not sleep at all.
"My sheets were wet through with perspiration and then I was up about 10 times in the night to the loo.
"It was a very horrible and low time and I felt depressed and down. But then I took HRT and within 3 days of taking it, I was back to my happy energetic self and also got my sleep back."

Saira was then asked if the lack of sleep affected her sex-life with her husband.
To which she replied: "Yes 100%. If you are tired, the last thing on your mind is to get intimate, you just don’t have the energy."
