Denise Welch clapped straight back after a Loose Women viewer slated her on Twitter, telling her to turn off the TV.
The presenter, 64, was one of the panellists on Wednesday's instalment of the ITV daytime show and told a story about how she had battled her long-standing fear of water and managed to take a dip in a lake.
One viewer was apparently unimpressed with Denise's tale, sharing a GIF of the star throwing her arms open on Twitter and sniping: "Denise your endless, very long stories about yourself and your life are so fascinating and relatable."

The person added the hashtags "#LooseWomen #EnoughIsEnough #stfu".
However, Denise did not take the dig lying down and hit back with a hilarious comment even as the show was still on air.
Presumably logging in during an ad break, she shared the person's tweet and teased: "Ask a family member to show you the off button."
The TV star added a string of thumbs up emojis to her amusing post.
Denise's fans were tickled by her sharp putdown and flocked to Twitter to applaud her.
"Yas Denise xx," one tweeted.
Another posted: "God I love you Denise… Never ever change."
"Love you Queen Denise," said somebody else.
One fan had a theory, tweeting: "They’re just upset they live a boring life. I could listen to you for hours."
"Thanks Denise keep doing what you do," chimed in another of the presenter's fans, adding a red heart emoji.
