Love Island 2023 star, Lana Jenkins, has discussed her friendship with "amazing" Michelle Keegan after meeting on the set of Sky One comedy Brassic.
The celebrity make-up artist, 25, from Luton is one of the Islanders appearing on the 2023 winter series of the hit ITV2 dating show.
It comes as Michelle, 35, shared a sweet post supporting Lana on Love Island, writing on her Instagram Story: "So our girl @lanajenkinss is going into @loveisland. Genuinely one of the nicest girls you’ll ever meet. Go and smash it darlin" with a heart.
Talking about Michelle's support and their friendship with press, including OK! , ahead of Love Island starting on Monday 16th January, Lana said the former Coronation Street star is "amazing".
The celebrity make-up artist said over Michelle's sweet post: "Oh, that's lovely. Yeah, I've worked with Michelle on Brassic, which is a series that runs for like six months at a time.
"So I've spent a lot of time with Michelle, and she's amazing. She's so beautiful inside and out. So that's really lovely to hear."
Lana previously said of her make-up career: "In my work as a makeup artist I’ve worked with lots of celebrities. Also, when I was 6-years-old I used to live in Spain and I was in an episode of Benidorm as an extra!"
As well as working with some famous faces, Lana’s said to have dated Hollyoaks star and I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! runner-up Owen Warner.
Meanwhile, fellow contestant Olivia Hawkins also has a link to Michelle after acting as a body double for the actress and Emma Watson.
The ring girl and actress, 27, from Brighton said: "I did a film with Jason Statham and had a nice 10minute convo about life.
"I've been a ring girl for KSI, I played a waitress in James Bond with Daniel Craig and I’ve also been a body double for Michelle Keegan and Emma Watson."
Love Island starts at 9pm Monday 16th January on ITV2 and ITVX.
