A Love Island couple has already been dumped from villa and preparing to head home after a public vote.

On Sunday's episode, it saw Jake Cornish, Liberty Poole, Faye Winter, Teddy Soares, Mary Bedford, Aaron Simpson, Priya Gopaldas and Brett Staniland all voted "least compatible" by their fellow Islanders.

Viewers were then given the chance to vote for their favourite couple out of the four in a bid to pick which duo will remain in the Majorca villa with the results revealed on Monday's episode.

During the upcoming instalment, the Islanders receive a text which reads: "Can all Islanders gather around the fire pit immediately."

The contestants then discover which couples are at risk following Sunday's vote, where the Islanders had to each pick two couples who they thought were "least compatible".

After the results are revealed, Faye and Teddy, Priya and Brett, Mary and Aaron, and Liberty and Jake all stand in front of the fire pit as the public vote is then unveiled.

Jake receives a text which reads: The public have been voting to save their favourite couple. The three couples with the most votes will stay in the Villa. The couple with the fewest votes will be dumped from the Island.”

Voiceover host Iain Stirling revealed that Jake and Liberty, Faye and Teddy, and Mary and Aaron had all received three votes while Priya and Brett received five votes on Sunday's episode.

Prior to the results, the couples all received a text during a romantic date night in the villa where they were forced to vote for who they think is the least compatible couple.

The Islanders were enjoying dessert when they received a shocking text: “Islanders. Tonight each couple must vote for the two couples who they think are the least compatible. Those who receive the most votes risk being dumped from the island.

"You must now decide in your couples who you are going to choose and submit your decision by text. You must not discuss your decision with anyone else. #judgementday #gowithyourgut."
