Love Island fans are cringing at new intro as they question the odd "dildo" skit that features a "granny".

Fans of the ITV2 reality-dating show sat down on Monday night (January 16) to see a group of sexy singletons move into the new South African villa in the hopes of finding love.

But during the montage that introduced viewers at home the new Islanders, fans spotted something that "killed the vibe".

During Shaq's skit that saw him working in an airport, a granny went through airport security and had a dildo in her suitcase.

Taking to Twitter to discuss the skit, fans went wild as they slammed – and laughed at – the granny with a dildo.

"That intro has just killed the whole vibe hasn't it like, why was there a granny with a dildo in a suitcase?" asked one viewer.

"Not the dildo LMAO," penned another.

While a third said: "The Love Island intro with the gran’s dildo in airport baggage has made me laugh out louddd."

A fourth then said: "I thought the dildo in the suitcase was a seriously high moment for."

"Nahhh the dildo has done me. What a season this will be," chimed in a fifth.

The "dildo and granny" skit was to introduce Shaq Muhammad, an airport security officer.

The 24-year-old Londoner has signed up for Love Island with the hopes that he will meet his "future wife" in the South African villa.
