Love Island fans were in complete hysterics after Dami Hope experienced an epic baby naming blunder during the beloved Baby Challenge.

During Wednesday night's episode (July 27) of the hit ITV2 reality-dating show, the remaining Islanders were tasked with the ultimate parenting challenge.

Awoken by crying babies Ekin-Su woke up and questioned: “Wait, what is that noise?” before the Islanders headed into a room filled with babies in cribs.

Indiyah Polack and her beau Dami were totally enamoured by their bundle of joy and were quick to sit down to think up a name for her.

Firstly Dami suggested the names Ronke and Funke – two well-known Yoruba names.

But Indiyah wasn't a huge fan of either, which then let to Dami suggesting Coco – a nod to Casa Amor bombshell Coco Lodge.

Indiyah was clearly unimpressed and taken aback which led to her pressing him with: "Why are you just naming her after the bombshells?"

Dami then added: "No I'm not," before deliberating some more.

With the couple deciding on Sienna as the baby's name, Dami was quick to add in a Yoruba name as the baby's middle name and said: "Sienna Funke Hope".

Taking to Twitter in hysterics, fans were quick to comment on Dami's hilarious quips while he and Indiyah named their baby.

"Lmao Dami naming their baby as bombshell's names. This guy," said one fan in disbelief.

Another went on to add: "I’m actually cracking up at Dami brainstorming names for the baby."

"Not Dami suggesting coco as the babies name," added a third.

While a fourth made a reference about Andrew and Coco's past romantic stint and said: "Dami should go to Andrew and say 'can you hold Coco for me?'."

Dami ended up being the "best dad" out of the cohort of Islanders, with he and Indiyah scooping an award for the best parents of the 2022 series.

They were even awarded a cute wooden trophy that will look perfect in their future child's nursery one day.

Love Island airs weeknights at 9pm on ITV2 and ITVHub, with Unseen Bits airing on Saturday at 9pm and After Sun airing on Sunday at 10pm.
